This was Neil’s first published fiction that made him money! You can find it here. It’s an ode to the town he grew up in and their rodeo scene.
Here’s the thing about money… once you spend it, it’s gone. And then what’s the point? Why do things cost money anyways?
It makes sense now why the lift is so impressive. It’s because it’s impossible. Also neither of us are dancers.
After many kinds of both kinds of days, I can say with absolute certainty that I prefer the “everything happens at once” days!
